Krayoviy Zdvyh 2026 is set to be another unforgettable celebration of Ukrainian youth, culture, and community as CYM GB marks 80 years of CYM in the diaspora — and we’re excited to officially reveal the Friday night entertainment line-up.

Following the incredible atmosphere of previous years, Friday evening at Tarasivka will once again bring together live music, entertainment, and the unique spirit of Krayoviy Zdvyh to open the weekend celebrations in style.

This year’s programme will feature a mix of live performances and DJs, creating the perfect festival atmosphere to begin the weekend.

Verkhovyna + Alyona Kildishova - 20:00 (Band Stage)

Combining powerful live musicianship, vibrant Ukrainian melodies and infectious rhythms, Verkhovyna bring a sound that’s guaranteed to get the crowd dancing. Fronted by the unforgettable voice of Alyona Kildishova, the group blends traditional Ukrainian music with a fresh modern energy, creating a performance that feels both timeless and alive.

Verchovyna isn’t just a band—they’re a family, dedicated to sharing the sounds of Ukraine with the world, one unforgettable performance at a time. Whether it’s traditional dance music or modern takes on classic tunes, they’re here to make every moment truly special. Verchovyna—where tradition meets the beat. DJ SYSCH - 20:00 (Zal Khortytsia)

Bringing a unique mix of Ukrainian classics, zabava favourites and modern electronic remixes, DJ SYSCH combines the energy of a traditional Ukrainian celebration with a fresh festival atmosphere guaranteed to keep the crowd moving all night long.

Inspired by artists such as Raja, Costel Van Dein, Roland Orbin and Valhard, his sets blend powerful beats, nostalgic melodies and modern electronic sound into an unforgettable party experience full of energy, culture and celebration.

Whether you’re singing along to Ukrainian favourites or dancing into the early hours, DJ SYSCH brings people together through music in celebration of Ukrainian spirit, unity and a free Ukraine.

ANGE - 23:15 (Zal Khortytsia)

It began in South Wales in the halls of residence with a pair of decks, a love for house music, and the idea to throw a party. That idea evolved into Hot To Trot — a series of six nights at the Student Union Venue, bringing underground energy to crowds of over 600 people.

From there, Ange continued playing regular sets across Cardiff, developing a sound rooted in tech house, deep hypnotic grooves and driving techno rhythms. Today, his style has evolved further — blending electronic music with ethno-folk influences and Ukrainian sounds to create a unique festival atmosphere that keeps the crowd moving from start to finish.

Inspired by artists such as Korolova, Roman Crash, Roland UA, Yan Polsky, Yan Zapolsky, Roland Orban and Miss Monique, Ange’s sets combine powerful beats, melodic builds and carefully crafted transitions into a musical journey designed for the dancefloor.

Whether you’re arriving for the full weekend, camping with friends, reconnecting with the CYM community, or experiencing Krayoviy Zdvyh for the very first time, Friday night promises to be a fantastic start to the celebrations.

Join us at Tarasivka from Friday 3rd to Sunday 5th July 2026 for a weekend dedicated to Ukrainian culture, tradition, friendship, and the spirit of CYM.
