Krayoviy Zdvyh 2025 is shaping up to be an unforgettable celebration of CYM100, and we’re thrilled to reveal the entertainment for the band stage on Saturday Evening.

This year, we’re making history by introducing a second stage, ensuring the music and energy continue to flow well into the night.

Here’s who you can look forward to:

5:45 PM - Desna (Band Stage)

Desna is a Ukrainian folk band formed in 2023 during Tabir CYM at Tarasivka. It started with a few friends skipping lessons for probas,leading to their first performance that year at the Tabir Zabava. Desna play traditional Zabava style songs, performing at back to back Tabir zabavas and then at Plenum, sharing the stage with bands such as Topolya. Desna want the future generations to come to enjoy the sounds of Ukrainian Folk.

6:20 PM - Verkhovyna (Band Stage)

From the heart of Ukrainian tradition, with a modern twist, comes Verchovyna—a band whose music makes your feet move and your soul dance. Their sound weaves together the deep rhythms of drums, the soulful melodies of the accordion, and the shimmering strings of the mandolin, creating a vibrant connection between past and future. A solid bass groove forms the foundation of their music, delivering a powerful energy you can feel in your chest, while soaring vocals bring emotion and storytelling to every performance.

Verchovyna isn’t just a band—they’re a family, dedicated to sharing the sounds of Ukraine with the world, one unforgettable performance at a time. Whether it’s traditional dance music or modern takes on classic tunes, they’re here to make every moment truly special. Verchovyna—where tradition meets the beat. 7:40 PM - Cov Kozaks (Band Stage)

Formed in Coventry, England, in 2016, Cov Kozaks are the UK’s leading British-Ukrainian Folk-Fusion band. Renowned for their unique hybrid style, which combines elements of rock, punk, ska, and funk with traditional Ukrainian folk, the band has captivated audiences across the UK, Belgium, and Ukraine. Recent highlights include:

Consecutive main stage appearances at Godiva Festival (2022 & 2023)
Selection for Terry Hall's Home Sessions (2021)
A special performance at Pravda Beer Theatre in Lviv, Ukraine (2018)

Cov Kozaks have shared stages with renowned artists such as The Libertines, Melanie C, Alabama 3, Kozak System, and Шпилясті кобзарі. Their previous recordings, collectively known as the "Taras Bulba Trilogy", include:

Since February 2022 we have focused all our energy on hosting and performing at fundraising events and promoting Ukrainian culture and heritage wherever possible.

9:00 PM - Topolya (Band Stage)

Named after the infamous Tarasivka trees, Topolya has quickly become one of the UKs most in-demand Ukrainian Folk bands. Playing a mix of Traditional Ukrainian Folk and Modern Ukrainian Classics, Topolya will be sure to get you on the dancefloor and in the zabava spirit!!
