Celebrating Dedication and Achievement Across CYM GB at 44th Krayoviy Zyizd

At the 44th Krayovyi Zyizd of CYM Great Britain, a series of awards were presented to CYMivtsi in recognition of their hard work, outstanding dedication, and unwavering commitment to CYM’s values and mission.

Recognising Our Druzhynnyky

Within CYM, awards are presented to Druzhynnyky at different levels to acknowledge their contributions in CYM. Oseredky may award the 1st-level and 2nd-level awards (with agreement from Krayova Uprava), while 3rd-level awards are reserved for presentation at the Krayovyi Zyizd following recommendation by the Krayova Uprava. The 4th-level award, the highest honour, is presented at the World Congress of CYM.


In this centenary year, Krayova Uprava encouraged Oseredky to recognise the commitment and contributions of their members — a fitting way to mark 100 years of CYM’s legacy worldwide and to celebrate those who continue to uphold its spirit across Great Britain.


Awards were presented to the following members:

  • 1st Level Vykhovnyk: Maryana Pisetska (CYM Manchester)

  • 1st Level Kulturnyk: Sophia Wild, Maya Szlachetko and Anna Osadcow (CYM Manchester); Tom Gibbons and Joe Gibbons (CYM Wolverhampton); Yuri Lewyckyj (CYM London); Danylo Perehinec and Vlod Surma (CYM Derby); Alex Kosmirak (CYM Coventry)

  • 2nd Level Suspilnyk: Katrusia Zamulinskyj (CYM London)

  • 3rd Level Vykhovnyk: Anna Monyard (CYM Derby) and Vlodko Pawluk MBE (CYM London)


These awards highlight the breadth of service within our organisation – from leaders and educators to cultural ambassadors, choreographers, committee members and community ambassadors – each playing a vital role in strengthening the life and mission of CYM across Great Britain.



CYM100 Award: Merit, Loyalty, Action, Excellence

To mark 100 years of CYM, Svitova Uprava introduced a special Jubilee Certificate of Merit to honour members worldwide for their lifelong and exemplary service.

CYM GB proudly submitted 33 nominations, recognising members who have devoted decades to CYM at local, regional, and national levels. These individuals represent the heart of our organisation – leaders, mentors, educators, and volunteers who have strengthened our branches and preserved our traditions through their unwavering service.

Together, these nominees represent generations of service, leadership, and devotion to the ideals of CYM. Their collective efforts have shaped the life of our organisation and continue to inspire the next century of CYMivtsi.


CYM100 Mykola Pavlushkov Award: A Lifetime of Leadership

As part of CYM’s 100th anniversary celebrations, the Mykola Pavlushkov Honour was introduced by Svitova Uprava CYM to recognise members whose long-standing and selfless work at the international level has strengthened CYM and contributed to the wider Ukrainian cause.


During the global centenary celebrations at Frankopole, Belgium, this prestigious honour was presented to members who have served in elected positions on the Svitova Uprava CYM for three or more terms. Among the few recognised for an exceptional five terms of service was druh Wolodymyr Szlachetko of CYM Great Britain, acknowledged for an impressive 28 years of service on the World Executive. The award was formally handed to him during the 44th Krayovyi Zyizd CYM GB in recognition of his remarkable contribution and leadership over many decades.

Druh Wolodymyr’s involvement in CYM spans more than five decades, during which he has served at every level of the organisation. Today, with over 52 years of continuous service, he remains an active and valued contributor to CYM’s life in Great Britain. His example reflects the dedication, continuity, and service that underpin the strength and unity of CYM worldwide



All the awards presented at the 44th Krayvoiy Zyizd of CYM GB are not only a form of recognition but also a reflection of gratitude to those who embody the values, dedication, and unity that define CYM.

Through their leadership, creativity, and dedicated work, our CYMivtsi - past and present - continue to strengthen the CYM community and ensure that its ideals are carried forward for generations to come.
