This Christmas, as the world comes together to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, a time of hope, light, and new beginnings, our thoughts and prayers remain firmly with Ukraine.

We honour our brave defenders who stand steadfast on the front lines, protecting our land, people, and future. We hold in our hearts the families torn apart by war, the children whose Christmas dreams are shaped by resilience instead of peace and joy, and every Ukrainian whose faith endures despite the hardships.

In the humble birth of Christ, we are reminded that light enters the world even in its darkest hours. May this holy season strengthen our faith, unite our communities, and bring comfort to all who yearn for peace and justice.
